The company’s project-management roots span Mainframe, PC, Internet, SaaS, open source, cloud, and now AI. Each era changed the delivery model. The focus on professional project management stayed constant.
The project-management roots behind ProjectLibre reach back to PSDI, where PROJECT/2 supported sophisticated scheduling and project control on IBM mainframes while QWIKNET brought project management to DOS and PCs.
That experience continued at Scitor with ProjectScheduler, one of the leading graphical PC project-management products of its era, as the market moved from text and DOS interfaces toward visual scheduling.
WebProject moved team project management into the browser before Internet software was mainstream. It was backed by Cisco Systems and Sun Microsystems, then later acquired.
