      Summary:
The “Split Task” function appears to be non-functional in versions 1.9.x through 1.9.8 (latest). When triggered, it performs no action and provides no feedback.

      Steps to Reproduce:
      – Open the application (version 1.9.x–1.9.8).
      – Navigate to a task that should be eligible for splitting.
      – Attempt to use the “Split Task” function (right click on the task and select Split in Grantt).
      – Observe that nothing happens—no split occurs, no error message is shown.

      Expected Behavior:
The task should be divided into subtasks or segments as per the intended functionality.

      Actual Behavior:
No visible change or response. The function appears inert.

      Environment:
      – App Version: 1.9.x – 1.9.8
      – OS: Windows 11
      – Device: Laptop

      Additional Notes:
      – No error logs or crash reports were generated.
      – Issue persists across multiple tasks and sessions.

I just tested and it works fine. Hover over a task and right click or use the command menu to split task. click in the task and it splits… then use the cursor to drag the ‘split’ right bar to the right and you have split the task. This was on 1.9.8

I’ve attached a sample file to illustrate the issue — I’m unable to split Task 1.1 located at row 14

Tried but could not split for this durration “9,333” maybe this is the issue. Split work on “9,33” duration or other value. I believ 3 digits after the comma prevent the Splitting functionnality.
(for me it’s row 12 for Task 1.1)

That’s interesting—while it does seem like the “9,333” duration might be causing the issue, the fact that “11,333” at row 13 and “5,667” at row 14 splits without any problem suggests it might not be strictly related to the number of digits after the comma. There could be another factor at play, possibly something specific to the task at row 14 and 15.
