Project_LibreKeymasterThe Cloud and also desktop versions have a Filter feature…. if you are filtering for example ( Critical Tasks) it would only show a subset of project tasks that are critical
Project_LibreKeymasterI just tested on the Cloud and Desktop version and it worked fine…. Which version are you using? Do you have a secuity software conflict?
Project_LibreKeymasterHi there and great you are getting a Master’s or Ph.D in PM….. the Summary bar always spans the duration of the sub tasks…. Create an overall Project Summary task …. then have multiple levels of summary tasks under… each one will span the duration of the sub-tasks which were indented under.

Project_LibreKeymasterThe Cloud and Desktop versions both give you the option to change the Currency, Date format and Language.
Project_LibreKeymasterThat is a good point… we are going to have a dialog box in the Cloud version to set preferences
Project_LibreKeymasterWhen you create an account it is for our community, website forums and documentation. It is a different login when you request access to the ProjectLibre Cloud AI trial. We have a a quick 15 minute setup meeting and you are provisioned with 15 users to trial. We can certainly provision for more users if you want…
The Community login is different than the Cloud AI login.
Project_LibreKeymasterGreat question…. ProjectLibre and MS Project both accrue costs from the bottom up with resource assignments accruing cost on tasks and rolling up on the project. We have discussed a cashflow report in the future based on a different type budget that would be top-down.
Project_LibreKeymasterI just tested and it works fine. Hover over a task and right click or use the command menu to split task. click in the task and it splits… then use the cursor to drag the ‘split’ right bar to the right and you have split the task. This was on 1.9.8
Project_LibreKeymasterThat is odd… you mention it was created and exported from MS Project. That is important. There are many programs that export as .mpx or .mpp and it is not formatted correctly. In this case do you have custom fields or anything “special” in your exported project? We are making some changes in the upcomng version. If you want to send us the file info@projectlibre.com we can take a look on the Cloud version if it is imported correctly.
Project_LibreKeymasterWe are looking to add a dialog box for configuring annotations in the Cloud version. It would be good to backfill that into the desktop as well.
Project_LibreKeymasterAre you using the desktop or Cloud AI solution? The Cloud AI has better printing that can print to a .pdf in many formats and then embed that in your document. You can certainly add tasks… it is the + in the Cloud
Project_LibreKeymasterGood point… the Linux distributions are important to our mission with the desktop version of ProjectLibre. We are swamped now but do expect us to update. We are looking for community developers to assist.
Project_LibreKeymasterI am not sure your question? Yes, the task number is automatically generated and you can see it by default in the spreadsheet. You can change that but by default in both the CLoud AI and Desktop will display the task number
Project_LibreKeymasterAre you using the Cloud or Desktop version? There are differences… on the Cloud version just change the zoom on your browser. All browsers are similar and cntrl + usually also does it…
On the dekstop you can change your system preference. The desktop is a Java solution and reads the system preferences. It does change from Windows, Apple and Linux but they all have default font size
