Copilot

ProjectLibre Cloud Copilot is an in-app schedule mutator — not a separate chatbot that only suggests ideas. You describe what to build or change in natural language; Copilot writes real project data (tasks, durations, WBS/phases, dependencies, progress). The scheduling engine recalculates dates into the Gantt and other views.

ProjectLibre Cloud uses the labels Copilot in the sidebar/panel and AI when creating a new project. The Copilot prompt field reads “Ask Libre to build or edit your plan…” and the guided assistant is Libre.

Three entry paths: (1) sidebar Copilot chat — create & edit · (2) Portfolio + Add → AI → Generate Project — Generate Project / AI project creation · (3) Project Gantt toolbar AI → AI Generation → Generate Tasks — in-project Generate Tasks (edits the open project).

In-app schedule mutator (Ask Libre…)

Open Copilot from the top of the left nav (bird/hummingbird icon). The panel opens beside Portfolio or Project so you keep seeing the schedule while you work. Helper copy gives examples such as creating a project with task durations, linking tasks, or setting percent complete. You do not need a special command language — describe the result in normal direct language.

Open the Copilot panel

1. From Portfolio (or Project), click sidebar Copilot.

2. Read the helper examples at the top of the panel.

3. Type or paste in the prompt field (Ask Libre to build or edit your plan…).

4. Click Send (sparkle). Status shows Thinking… / button Working….

5. Review the chat reply and teal action chips; optionally Open project (eye).

6. Footer: Clear · Help · Take a tour.

Multi-user roles and access

projects Copilot creates or updates are shared Cloud projects — not isolated AI documents. Authorized PMs, team members, resource managers, and portfolio managers see updated tasks/dates/dependencies/progress according to their role permissions. Access to Copilot itself can be controlled through company roles and permissions.

Still a full scheduling suite after AI edits

Closing emphasis: after Copilot creates or updates a plan, you still manage it with professional scheduling — critical path, calendars, constraints, baselines, enterprise resources, resource leveling, Monte Carlo risk, DCMA schedule audit, and earned value. Copilot does not run those analyses in the overview video; it feeds the same shared project they act on.

Workflow

1. From Portfolio, create a blank project and enter the project name. The examples in this guide include AI Project and multilingual AI-generated schedules.

2. Open the project → Project → Gantt.

3. Click toolbar AI (sparkle/wand).

4. Under AI Project Management, choose + Generate tasks.

5. In modal AI Generation, read the helper: the AI will create tasks, dependencies, and assignments based on your description; tasks are added at the selected position.

6. Fill Project Description (demo: landscape the front lawn including irrigation — Return 10 tasks).

7. Click Generate Tasks (or Cancel). No Accept/Reject dialog — results land in the open grid/Gantt with durations and predecessors.
